It is my favorite game to pick up and play without feeling like I'm wasting my time training Pokemon that don't have optimal nature and EV distribution. IVs still exist, I know, but they are not perceptible from the stat screen (I.e. a character description) and are within a smaller range. Every game has its faults, but overall it is still my personal favorite to replay. I also like the leveled battle tower in Crystal.
