yeah. i always thought that too. voltorb and magnemite lines have metallic bodies that look powered by electricity. there is no way they arent robots. especially when magnezone looks like a cool ufo bot

i'm not sure about the klink line tho. they don't look powered by electricity. they just look like floating metal objects like klefki. but they do keep spinning over and over in a robotic way. almost like they are repeating the same function or code.
so yeah. i guess the klink line are kinda like robots. kinda...

i can only say for certain that regigigas and registeel definitely are. they could have circuits or processors underneath their metallic bodies. i am not so sure about regirock and regice tho. pokedex says their bodies are made of literal rocks and glaciers. not made of any typical technology

if i had to guess, regirock and regice's cpu are probably located in their dot eyes. which then somehow manipulates any rocks or ice they come into contact with
