They could literally bring back everything else and they'd still be shit because Pokémon are the only thing that matter.
Especially since they affect everything else.
There is no reason to care if the Frontier returns when the reason most people want them back are to use the updated stuff.
If you just want to use the best part of 500 Pokémon in the Frontier there's no reason not to just go play Platinum or HG/SS.
The point is to use everything that's been added since in content you enjoyed.
Anything else is an argument that there should never be ANY returning shit. That each game should just be entirely different for the sake of being different when that is what NO ONE who cares about the series wants.
They want more of what they enjoyed and that requires having all of the Pokémon and content, not less or different.
Just like the next time you went to get ice cream you wouldn't hope for split pea soup to slosh out into the bowl/cone.
