I've just completed my year-long project of replaying all of the games with themed teams while waiting for Sword and Shield to come out.

Here are my hall of fame teams, vp.

Rules with which I've crafted the teams:
>In every first version I used an all-grass team
>In every enhanced version I used 3 pokémon that the dex registered as pink and 3 that the dex registered as purple with the exception of Platinum where the pink choice was non-existent so I went with 5 purple pokémon.
>FireRed and HeartGold have team consisting of pokémon that received an evolution after the original game came out
>OmegaRuby's team consists of Pokémon that can mega-evolve
>LGE's team consists of rideable Pokémon with the exception of partner Eevee.

I also generally tried to avoid repetition and using pokémon outside their generation (some exceptions: the abysmal presence of second generation grass pokémon in silver and of sixth generation grass pokémon in X made me use Vileplume and Leafon)
