Masuda's response was not, "Yes." like it would be if they were all guaranteed in, it was "If they're in the Galar Regional Dex.".
He knew people were going to be mad so he waffled the answer just like when asked about Bank and Trash Go. The answer was no and he just refused to say it.
Chansey and Audino are basically grinding tools. They could easily go with Audino here.
Actually, if they intend to be smart about it (lol) Galar should use Audino, in fact. Remember, Happiny is Sinnoh. They're guaranteed in Sinnoh remakes so if they want to not piss people off by leaving things out for too long, Audino should be present in the others.
This is one of the reason rosterfagging actually hurts them. Instead of just letting you transfer shit now they need to stop and think how long it's been for each one and what will and won't be used in the next Gen AS A WHOLE.
To do it right they need to design the basics for EVERY game at once now. While still trying to release yearly games when they couldn't do it with less though? Yeah, good luck.
My point stands that Chansey's line should absolutely not be in Galar though regardless of whether they once again prove how incompetent they are or not.
