What is something you are hoping for from the new gen? Personally, I would like:

But in all seriousness, I'm hoping for a pure flying type, hopefully at least two stages, that isn't a legendary. I've always wanted a pure flying type!

Tailwind is shit. Defog is alright but I don't really want for hazard removal on the team I want this for. Roost is also whatever, it's just recovery. Something that could place hazards and maybe gets some cleric moves would be much more preferable.

Wanting a type combo just for it to exist is incredibly flawed. We have many existing type combos possessed only be absolutely fucking trash shitmons or uber tier box legends. In many cases they may as well not exist.

this is nostalgia goggles but at some point I want to feel the same wonder and excitement I felt being surprised by kanto in gen 2

some gameplay that’s unexpected and meaty. granted i was 8 when I played crystal so kanto probably wasn’t as unexpected to adults playing the game. Will continue to chase the wonder.

I still enjoy pokemon, and I'm sure I will like the games without it, but I can be honest and say that moving forward, if they're going to be on the SWITCH, a battle frontier is a must-have soon in order to compete. I don't think they need to reinvent the wheel - I mean COD is largely the same game everytime - but what makes repetitive games interesting is often the online aspects. Having multiple battle formats beyond doubles and singles would benefit the series.

Meme or not, the Battle Frontier is what got me to competitive battling because of it's battle facilities and the variety of battles you were able to participate in
