>>40565294It'll probably be the same as every other Pokemon game in terms of quality.
While the missing Pokemon and shitty graphics are disheartening, they're probably not going to detract from the overall experience. Plenty of games remove content from older games, plenty of games look like shit, and they still manage to be fun games.
Pokemon fills a unique niche as a monster-collecting RPG. Other games may try to compete but either fall flat on overall quality (Yokai Watch, Digimon), are just a bit too different mechanically to scratch the same itch (SMT), or just fucking go MIA (again, SMT)
You should first consider what other games are on the Switch that you may or may not want. Some of the recent exclusives have been letdowns (Astral Chain, Daemon x Machina), at least with Pokemon you know what you're getting.
Finally, you shouldn't let a Mongolian basket-weaving forum dictate what games you buy or don't buy. You can fully disregard my post, but you also shouldn't avoid the game because some people on 4chan told you not to. My best advice is to wait a week after release to get a better impression of the game from people actually playing it, it's not a perishable good that will go bad or run out of stock.
