I'll never understand the "who cares about the increased price, I'm an adult with a job" defense. If you're an adult with a job, you care *MORE* about price increases, not less. If I was a kid, I'd never notice the price increase, I'd just do the same thing as I'd always did: be more helpful around the house, try to do a little better in school and butter my parents up as much as I can to increase the chances they'll be willing to buy it for me so that I can go back to being a lazy fuck afterwards and put 1k hours into the game. Now that I'm a 30-year old man, money = groceries. Money = paying off bills. Sure, $20 isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back or anything, but plopping down $60 for something that currently looks underwhelming is definitely something no 60+ IQ adult should be thinking about right now, in my opinion. TL;DR: anyone who doesn't care about the price increase is literally a child, on welfare, or are manchildren living with their parents.Or they're legitimately wealthy enough that impulse buys like this are common, I suppose. /rant I'm going back to my replay of Crystal.

People who say this are probably NEET who live in their mom's basement, just lile a kid who doesn't care if a toys is too expensive because they're not the one buying it with their own money.

>>40565611 You care more if you wasted your teenagehood being a complete retard and now have a mediocre job.
If you have a decent job 50 bucks a month is spare cash.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. I make about 65,000 USD yearly, after taxes. Now I have a car, an apartment, and a small boat (because why the fuck not), and (several) loans to pay down. Video games is not something I have a lot of time for. I work 9 hours a day, and usually about 4-5 in the weekends as well. The only hobbies I have in my life are Pokemon (which I tell absolutely noone about), 4chan (which I also tell absolutely noone about) and Squash. Considering all this, do you think, even for a second, that I give a shit about the price? If anything I only care about how badly they are fucking up the game. If I did anything as half-assed and shit as they do over at Game Freak I would have been fired on the spot, and nobody would hire me ever again.

There are multiple "this should have the price of a portable game" games on the Switch that are $60
It's an issue with Nintendo releasing a "hybrid" console that basically just a handheld while treating it like a home console

But then again, you're actually thinking GF care what adults think of the games, which is blatantly false, or they'd have reversed Dexit and made them harder and darker.
