I'll never understand the "who cares about the increased price, I'm an adult with a job" defense.
If you're an adult with a job, you care *MORE* about price increases, not less. If I was a kid, I'd never notice the price increase, I'd just do the same thing as I'd always did: be more helpful around the house, try to do a little better in school and butter my parents up as much as I can to increase the chances they'll be willing to buy it for me so that I can go back to being a lazy fuck afterwards and put 1k hours into the game.
Now that I'm a 30-year old man, money = groceries.
Money = paying off bills.
Sure, $20 isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back or anything, but plopping down $60 for something that currently looks underwhelming is definitely something no 60+ IQ adult should be thinking about right now, in my opinion.

TL;DR: anyone who doesn't care about the price increase is literally a child, on welfare, or are manchildren living with their parents.

Or they're legitimately wealthy enough that impulse buys like this are common, I suppose.
