How do you think GF is going to handle event Pokemon? Imagine the shit show if something like Darkrai is patched into the game when its event comes around. Itd show GF has the willingness (because there is no reason they can't just patch them in to begin with) to patch in Pokemon they can hide behind paywalls but not every other Pokemon.
