Do you remember how Cosplay pikachu couldn't get transferred to Sun/Moon? I think the same will happen to Cap pikachu and it won't be transferable to SwSh. And this new Gigantamax pikachu won't get into gen 9 for that matter. This Dynamax gimmick feels like it's gonna be confined to gen 8 only.

You do know that gigantamax Pokemon are reverted to normal after 3 rounds? Next you're saying that you can't transfer your charizard from sumo because it mega evolved once.

You'll be able to put Capchu in Home, but you won't ever get a chance to take it out of Home because Pikachu is constantly receiving new gimmicks and special distributions that they don't want to keep up with every single one.

The real question is if the Partner Pikachu/Eevee moves from LGPE will ever appear again. If every Eeveeloution could learn their respective Partner Eevee move they could become top-tier competitive threats

And just wait for the clusterfuck that will be online battles and vgc if gen 8 has dpp remakes. Their regional pokedexes will most likely have very small overlap, meaning a swsh player and a dp player will have limited options in what to use when facing each other. That or they will be unable to interact at all which would not surprise me at this point. Or we just never see remakes again, and new gens are shit out every other year.

Gigantamax Pokemon aren't considered normal. We don't know yet if they have any different stats or not, or if they're different enough to be locked out of other gens.
Considering the Pikachu and Meowth Gmax, I sure hope so, heh. Imagine getting stuck lugging around shitmons so you can use them at most 10 times per playthrough.

I hope those moves come back. Flareon needs the buff, badly. As long as they make only the type of the Eeveelution get the move, like upon evolution. That way you avoid the Water move being on Umbreon - shit would never die if that were possible.
