If the reason it looks like this is because it’s getting a gigamax form, then what’s GF gonna do when they eventually phase out this gimmick like they did with megas/z-moves?

I don't know, but Gamefreak is making the same mistake Yugioh does by introducing a new gimmick every generation you need to space these out.

Inttroducing a new gimmick is not a problem. The problem is introducing a new gimmick that fucks the other gimmicks.
Megas and Z-Moves worked together because the pokemon could not hold a megastone and a z-crystal at the same time.

Find another new shitty gimmick to exploit instead of not-abandoning and improving/fixing the one they just created.
