I can understand getting the 2pack for your loved one or friend.
That's extra 60 dollars worth of another game but instead it goes to 5 version exclusives you'd get anyway if you just traded online.

I've been torn on that for awhile. I want to switch to full digital for the Switch but the only decent pre-order bonuses are for physical copies. I still have a voucher so I get it "for free" digital but I've been preordering games from Best Buy for years now and without fail I get my pre-ordered games a day early for whatever reason so there's that too. Got $20 in Best Buy bucks and iirc they have a $10 pre-order bonus for SS. Hard to decide which way to go.
