You know what I really want out of Pokemon?
Proper fucking boss fights
Legendary Pokemon are great and all but I'm talking about stuff like Totem Pokemon but better
>Boost BST for Story/Gym Pokemon "Boss fights"
>Maybe reduce Super Effective damage
>Immunity to OHKO
>Moves they can't normally use
>More mons at levels lower than they evolve
>Legendaries having that bit Gen 1 Snorlax had where they're immune to normal Pokeballs unless asleep or something similar
Shit like that
I'm sick of them being afraid to make the computer cheat and instead defaulting to Gimmicks like Mega Evolution, Totem Pokemon, and Dyna/Gigantamax
It's really clear they're trying to make it "fair" but outside of Totem Pokemon who'd get continual buffs, the stats and the mechanics every trainer and wild mon has are similar if not identical to whatever the Player has
I wouldn't mind if when I caught my Legendaries that they weren't as powerful as when I fought them or having Gym Leaders simply have BETTER versions of Pokemon I could get
It doesn't have to be fair but it also doesn't have to be cheap or gimmicky
