But trolls and shills are clever, resourceful little bastards, and I'm afraid that no matter how much authentic information we try to present, they'll do everything in their power to either refute it, justify it, or just completely drown us out.
I wouldn't normally be so worried about this, but Pokemon is one of my favorite franchises ever, and the trolls/cultists have already been so, SO obnoxious this "hype" season. It could just be trolls, but they have blended themselves so well with the actual brand cultists that it's very hard to tell these days, not to mention it could attract REAL cultists to assist them. Also, Game Freak have a tendency to listen to people who don't really have our best interests at heart, and if the trolls voices are heard, it could cause future games to become even worse than it already is.
All this shit went down the same exact way with FiM during season 3. People watched season 4 in droves and successfully, forcefully silenced the criticism that came up during the Season 3 finale, and surprise surprise, the show kept getting worse and worse afterwards to the point of being almost unrecognizable.On a more topic-related event, even if my favorite starter Pokemon of old make it in this game, Game Freak have already stated that this will be policy going forward, so my favorite Pokemon could potentially not make it in to the next game. I really don't want to reward this kind of pattern, which is why I have no intention of ever buying this game new. I've already skipped out on SM/USUM/LGPE, so skipping one more game won't keep me up at night.
