I mostly just stick to regular Pokeballs whenever possible. Even when catching legendaries. The sole exception being my shiny mega Gardevoir in a Moon ball.

The protrusions are EXTREMELY aesthetically pleasing to me; in fact I find it hard to justify using a Pokeball design if it lacks those protruding parts you seem to hate. The Heavy ball in particular makes me go fully erect.

I know right? I just don't really like pokeballs that aren't perfectly spherical. Protrusions are not only unnecessary changes to the pokeball's simple circle design, but also don't seem very ergonomical to your hands. The Beast ball's sharp edges would probably rasp your palm every time you activated it.

I've been shiny hunting legendaries in USUM and Ive been cathcing them all in Ultra Balls but I accidentally caught my Tornadus in a regular PokeBall. So need someone who can edit Pokemon and change his PokeBall to an Ultra Ball.

Always match the ball to the mon. If I can help it, have six different balls for my team of six. I recently had a team where I needed to use Poke Balls for two of the mons so I just made all of my mons in Poke Balls.

I also try to make the ball match the mon. My ideal system would be letting you swap pokemon into another ball after you get it and decorate it. Some pokemon can only be obtained in certain balls and some don't have balls that match them very well at all, although the newer breeding mechanics help.
