Boy because I don't like seeing ass doing my gameplay. Also it kinda does. I get the feeling that female characters hit on you more if you are a boy. Makes sense.

Only on very rare occasions I play as a boy, last time was in ORAS where I couldn't customize so no self insertion, and Brendan is way cuter than May so I went with him instead.
