There is no significant improvement to the graphics via polygon count increase, or bump mapping, or increase of general scene complexity (barring a few extra grass billboards here and there), etc. It's about as bare bones of an upres'd port as you can get. Hell, it's not even 60 fps ffs. If anything, it's a good comparison to Pokemon SM/USUM -> SwSh because of the lackluster graphical improvement.
