Why isn't Pokemon allowed to have anything that targets a mature audience? Pokemon Black and White and the Mystery Dungeon games have come the closest to doing this, but all the games afterwards feel like sanitized bubblegum. Why can't they allow you to date other trainers or even your own Pokemon? Why don't they deal with more mature themes like homelessness, drug addiction, and climate change? What's stopping TPC from doing what Sanrio did with Aggretsuko?
