>>40603023So you're saying you should just swallow anything a corporation gives you or you're not a fan? I mean, I guess that explains why Marvel fans just want to watch the same dumb movies over and over again, and why there are so many of them.
Consider this scenario, though. Say that you like McDonalds. You really like their fries, and their burgers are great, and you fucking love chicken McNuggets, and you love that you can get a toy with your Happy Meal. You're a McDonalds fan. You happily pay $10 or $15 or whatever you pay for a meal. One day, though, McDonalds stops offering toys with their Happy Meals. The price is still the same though. You say, "well, whatever, I love McDonalds, I'll keep supporting them even if I don't get a toy with my nuggets anymore". So you continue paying $10 to $15 per meal.
The year after that, McDonalds stops offering fries with their menus. You say, "well, their nuggets and burgers are the same. I'll keep supporting them even if they are still charging me $10 to $15 for a meal that's giving me less than it used to. The economy's bad, and they're a small indie company."
The year after that, they halve the amount of nuggets you get. Worse, they now charge $20 to $25 per meal. The nuggets still taste the same, but there's less of them. You love your nuggets, so you keep going.
When do you stop buying your fucking McNuggets, anon? It is your money that funds this behavior as McDonalds knows you'll buy it regardless of how much or how good of a product you're getting.
