The game reached 10mil sales around two months of release so all this time only sold 1mil, I'm not sure that's some kind of great achievement
LGPE flopped so hard in my region the game got a price cut after like a month which is unprecedent for a main series pokemon game. One nowadays can find it in the dated games rack for 600 MXN, less than half of release price (around 1700 MXN)
I'm pretty sure most of the total sales came from the US alone, the game also underperformed in Japan. And I doubt at this point the game will continue to sell consistently unless people really want those fat pikachu and eevee
