>>40610039I guess I could see it. This is the first home console Pokémon game after all. That being said I do know a lot of fairly casual consumers and even they are aware of some of the controversy surrounding the game. Maybe that will affect things but honestly I doubt it.
I think the people really committed to not buying it new might number as low as 100 thousand, which is a pretty easily replaceable figure on the Switch. I know the fence sitters will pussy out and a large portion of the people who claim to be committed will cave. I don't know why when they can just wait for used copies, but they will cave.
