The cutiefly perspective I can understand
But you can simply just take the camera and scale it accordingly to fit and further emphasize the size of a larger Pokemon. That makes them a lot more intimidating, I mean for crying out loud, that image of Wailord outsizing Rayquaza and Groudon alike was enough to send a message.

1. If it's too big then explain how Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, Battle Revolution, and Pokedex 3D Pro got away with accurate sizes.

Smaller devs like Hal Laboratories and Genius Sorority had been making console pokemon games where every size difference was taken into account. And that was for multiple games in the 20 years prior to SWSH. Gamefreak has no excuse.
