Some of those sprites I really like, such as Glalie, Seaking, Gengar, Pelipper, Clefable, Ludicolo and Dugtrio. But there are others that the more I look at, the worse they get. And some have a much darker/thicker outline than others, compare Rhydon to Drifloon for example. Drifloon's doesn't look new. Lapras looks weird, Bewear looks fucking stupid. Machamp's face is all sorts of messed up.

I can understand keeping some of the rarer mons as secret pre-release. We haven't even seen the regional bug yet, despite it undoubtedly being one of the first pokemon we will encounter.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people would rather see the full set of new pokémon and all the returning ones instead of spending money blindly just to find that their favourites may not be in.

Only last evolutionary stages and without evolution changed their sprite and yes some are uglys like ponyta galar, It seems a sprite of 3 gen ponyta kanto with colors of ponyta galar and Glaceon too, it's very horrible
