Reminder that last night, Pokemon Go accidentally added a fourth evolution for Victreebel. Then quickly removed it within an hour after people noticed.

I’m gonna have to chalk this one up to being something with Shadow Pokémon or some other stupid Go only thing.

There’s absolutely zero way that they’re putting stuff in from from SwSh to GO already. Those updates get data mined as soon as they become available.

This update also added slots in the Pokedex for Galar Weezing and Zigzagoon.

Also, evidently Bellsprout line WAS added to the pool of shadow Pokémon.

And with as tight as Gamefreak has been about leaks, I’m sure nobody at Niantic has any clue of what’s going on for Gen 8.

I’d say myth: busted

Galar forms were add to the data like a month ago, but they weren't "implemented" until just now (and by "implemented", I mean the Pokedex entry for Weezing and Zigzagoon has a slot for them now). And last I checked, Shadow Pokemon don't have an extra space in their evolution line.
