How long does it usually take for GameStop to start stocking used copies of a game? I want to buy used so that I don't support the game.

for gamestop, depends on the laws of where you live. in my area there is a trade hold. so even if someone traded back in the game on the day it released, it couldn't be for sale until 3 days later

Whenever they come in. When I worked there, if we got a used copy of something, we could make an appropriate case to sell it used within minutes.
