Koharu is just an unimportant side character, so if there's another main character beside Ash & Go, it'll be someone they meet in one of the other regions.

There most likely won't be another companion. We have two posters with just Ash and Go. If they're hiding someone else, that character will have Brock-level importance at best, so it might as well be Koharu.

sure their clothing is generic but that hair is absurd enough to absolutely pass for a main character especially compared to people like Serena and Misty who actually look normal and not like main characters
