For me it's Slateport. It really felt like a huge, lively port with its market, museum and shipyard. Also it's the only port town in Pokemon with a beach right next to it. Back during my childhood I always used to fly here before saving and quitting my game because I imagined that my character would like to stay there while the game was off.
