How would you feel if the remakes of old games had this mentality? They're remaking the games to target nostalgia, yes, but those buying them would be ages 18-25 most likely.
I would love for a game to have the feel of Pokemon Generations where they took a more serious dive into the organized crime that plagues the pokemon world or with the upcoming gen 4 remakes the scary ass cult we would deal with.
Give us an adult character with an adult story, but keep the mainline games for kids because obviously that's where the money is.
