Why does everyone think Gladion is supposed to resemble Buzzwole when Necrozma is right there? Shoulder spikes, black color palette, near-identical hand movements in some of its animations... Gladion has the slightest bit of red (and bear in mind that neither Pheromosa nor Nihilego has every color on Lusamine and Lillie), but that's really the only comparison to make to Buzzwole at all, and Necrozma is a significantly more obvious match in every possible way.
I understand why people guessed Buzzwole at the time, because a) both of the other UBs we had seen specifically resembled members of his family (it wasn't until later that we got ones like Xurkitree-Guzma, Guzzlord-Hala or Kartana-Tapu Koko) and b) we obviously didn't know about Necrozma when we first saw Buzzwole, but how is it STILL the most common association...?
