I've been around since gen 1 and a lack of compatibility didn't stop me or anyone else back then, god, it's like gen 5 all over again, back then you bitched about it, but now you suddenly fucking love gen 5. This place is still the worst of the fandom when I left this godforsaken website, because it's still the same as it ever was back then!
Yeah, the compatibility cut sucks, but you know what? I'm ok with having something like pokemon home to put them all in, because I'm a patient man.
And if you are seriously thinking on skipping, I hope you all enjoy being financially ass raped by EA, Activision and Blizzard. Like emulating and pirating will work any better, here's a hint, it still sucks.
And to those who try to cope with the digimon knockoff, cope harder. Digimon will always be bootleg pokemon, it was like that from the beginning.
