If this poll is a good sample, then almost 50% of people here would willingly choose to use the stick figure lizard or fursuit bunny.

Still don’t understand how someone can like Rillaboom. Literally the ugliest starter of this gen, and that’s saying A LOT. Only reason i can genuinly think of for liking it is that stupid “haha the CHAD rillaboom!” Meme.

People that hate humanoid mons can at least accept a primate becoming more humanlike as it evolves. And even then, it actually seems LESS humanoid than the other 2, though apparently Intelleon is very reptilian in its animations so maybe gameplay footage will change people's minds.

Intelleon is ok, it'll probably look better animated. It's wonky proportions can be blamed on its source material (basilisk lizard)
Cinderace is just furbait, plain and simple. It's a bland human with a rabbit head. There are people that like that sorta thing I guess.

grass consistently has the best starters. Even the worst grass starter (serperior) was better than the alternatives (Emboar and samerott)

I feel like Intellion will look better in motion. A lot of my problems with it are the way it's so awkwardly posed. There are plenty of humanish Pokemon but Intellions stance is distinctly human since it's hands are on it's hip and it's legs are casually spaced. It's weird and off-putting.

yes that is correct. sceptile is recognizably fast but it isn't good. I'm not saying you cannot like those pokemon but even sceptile is arguably only saved by a mega that is no longer relevant.

I honestly think Rillaboom has the best design, looks like it had the most thought put into it while the other two are just boring. Still, I'd rather pick Scorbunny because I prefer him to the other two at stage one and I don't plan to use them anyway
