Man Gigantamax are some overdesigned shit. If they wanted to go full Digimon/SMT they should've done so for all designs, not just temporary gimmick forms. Hope this things base form looks good though.

It’s a volcano/black smoker sea vent. The teeth make the base form seem like it’s confirmed for a train like motif like most of us hoped for. Hopefully the middle evo is a minecart.

Stop being gay. You’re almost certainly wrong. It’s got too much in the way of evolution potential for Turner to drop the ball like that. It looks like the base is at least as complicated as Gigalith/Golem/Volcanion is. The head is so radically different that I don’t by it. Most gigas are just flourishes on a very similar design. That looks nothing like Rolycoly.

God I hope Rolycoly is a three-stage evolutionary line, THEN has the Gigantamax. Mega Evolutions have seemingly prevented plenty of single-stage Pokemon from gaining normal evolutions, and it seems that Gigantamax has done the same.
Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of traditional three-stage lines, so it kinda hurts when they, more or less, outright ban a Pokemon from ever evolving normally.
