Definitely the one designed by committee for marketing purposes, I mean...Gou/Hop has Scorbunny. This is this gen’s Lucario. Nothing offensive, can be pretty cute on its own, but nothing super amazing like other designs from the past.

The surprise is there has never been a youthful starter like this. They're all fully matured Pokemon but Cinderace is a little boy. That really does make it stand out. For better or worse.

To me Cinderace looks like every kemono character ever. Kemono in Japanese means beast and it commonly refers to japanese furries. DESU GF catering to this fan base does not surprise me in the bit. Overall it's design is pretty androgynous but in interviews they always talk about young boys when describing Scorbunny. I'm not sure how I feel about but it's still a fresh and unexpected direction for a starter.

They are almost always better in the arts than the west if you ask me. They lack in the music department and film department though, at least in my opinion. Everything else is exceptional and pushes entire mediums and crafts forward
