Since all 3 starters stay pure type,how good might they be in competitive? Right now it seems they will be better than gen 2 which isn't hard to achieve but could be worse than gen 5 starters.

Depends on their HAs. Starters are almost always shit with their regular abilities. But then again the dex cut might make them more viable because of all the broken shit like Genies and Tapu being removed.
