You know they added fuck all in Alola as they had 721 older ones to fuck about with at the same time?
Ever think when they cut the dex back, they're able to cut it back enough to allow them to add more new pokémon in?

Nothing changed in Alola that they wouldn't have to keep doing now unless they want to create more work for themselves later. Texture work is the least of their problems (which, by the way, didn't happen in Gen 7 anyway, outside the new ones).

There are not going to be anymore than Gen 7 most likely. Especially since they include formes.

I'm only seeing in the mid30s.
Regional variants are a second list, not brand new mons. (Though can add regional evolutions like Sir'fetch'd to the new mon total. But that's only 3 more, including meowths alternative evo.)

No but seriously, this gen has been unironically the worse in terms of design thus far, i always was a positive fag, there were very few ocasions in wich i disliked a design in the previous gens, for fucks sake im an Incineroarfag from day one, but gen 8 has been the worst thats ever been until now, and not only in 4chin, the sentiment seemed general even in other websites
