If only a few were so toy-like it wouldn't be so bad but there are too many that look like Chinese action figs
It is one of the most consistent gens within itself, I see these guys and I believe they are all part of the same ecosystem (Compare to Kalos and Alola where a few Pokemon looked a bit outlandish, like they came from a different region altogether)
But they stand out too much from other Pokemon, they don't mesh well at all with every other Pokemon Gen
I can believe Kanto and Alola are from the same world
Or that Johto and Kalos are just a continent apart
I can't believe Marowak and Impidimp are from the same franchise, let alone game
