I have a feeling animations will also reinforce this, but we'll have to wait to see. It does seem like a spy to me though, I kind of love its design. Simple and sleek.

Because he played the game instead of looking at a still image, you fucking retard. For all we know, his mannerisms, attacks and animations could've all given the impression of a spy. Not to say that he could actually see the model from multiple angles to get a better look at what made it tick.
