Tell me if this sounds right:
>2 fossils
>1 per version
>each fossil has two pieces, top and bottom
>either top can be combined with either bottom to create a new fossil pokemon, making four in total

This is probably a little too optimistic. What they probably mean is even though that wasn't the same head of the original creature, it can be combined with this body of the same creature and revived.

Probably gonna end up being "blue top fossil" and "yellow bottom fossil" make yellow and blue fossilmon (of which there is only one to make up for extra resources used to make multiple colours). I fucking hate it but sounds like classic GF cuckery
