>>40703573It feels like we barely have any of the types except Normal, Dark and Electric. Even though some like Fire and Bug already have a few. There's 3 Fighting types only already (4 if Farfetch'd is one too) so I think Fighting will get the shaft this time. There will probably be more Ghost and Dragon types, and hopefully at least one more Ice line. I'm expecting it to be like gen 6 where there's 2 Ice lines or 7 where there's a Galar form or two.
The real issue is that there's a load of pure types so types in general get less represented Unova did this too but had way more Pokemon so it wasn't as jarring. In gens 6 and 7 there were a lot of dual type Pokemon so they were able to add more type representation despite having not very many Pokemon.
