So he left his pokemon in Alola? Aren't they rebooting the series? They could make it so he finally has some love and respect for other pokemon than just Pikachu since they don't need him to start from scratch in another region within the same canon.

That applies for every region where he dumped his pokemon. He never visits them, and only Charizard ever shows up again.

With the reboot, they could instead have him take all his pokemon with him, since it will not affect the new anime canon. Make it the first time he has any love for them.

Gen 7 may have lacked in the game department, but they delivered anime wise. I enjoyed the weekly antics and for the first time an ending feels like a goodbye. I hope the next season lends itself to cameo appearances during its world tour.

if you're taking screenshots to demonstrate why the change in art style is bad, you are missing half of the equation--the biggest reason why it was changed is because the simpler artstyle is better for fluid animation. This is most noticeable in SM's character animation. Stop pretending to hold a superior opinion about something you clearly know nothing about.
