Hard L. Not only were all of the Bug types bad, but none of them even got any decent moves making them all useless in battle.

We have stinkers like Ledian and Ariados, as well as heroes like Heracross and Scizor. A decent gen but not the best.

Although Ninjask, Shedinja and Armaldo are just about decent, that's the best Hoenn got. Meanwhile Masquerain, Volbeat, Illumise and the entirety of the Wurmple line are hot garbabe.
> Gen 4
Yanmega is amazing but that's it for Sinnoh. All the Bug types are extremely bad and worthless. This gen might be the biggest L for Bug types so far.
> Gen 6
Not a bad gen if you include the megas but not the best either.
> Gens 5, 7 and 8
Pure undisputable winning for bugbros.
