Okay, but why are some of these regional forms straight up losing types that make sense for them?
>Sirfetch'd loses Flying-type despite it literally just being a bigger Farfetch'd

Example: Cursola should’ve been ghost/water, or ghost/rock. It may be dead but bleached coral is still underwater, and is still a calcium skeleton

I’d be fine with mono-types if they updated how STAB works. Make STAB weaker for dual-types and stronger for mono-types. Then they’d actually serve a purpose for once.

1. It not retaining either of Corsola's base types makes it feel more disconnected from the Pokemon its a spin on.

2. Mono ghost makes it boring in terms of gameplay which limits the desire to use it and enjoyment of what should be a cool Pokémon

3. It was a perfect no brainer opportunity for a brand new typing that fits the concept and original Pokémon flawlessly.

Disappointing on many levels. Perfect design made into a generic Pokémon that's interchangeable with many other pure ghosts.

nah it took my months to find surf when I was a kid, or figure out how to get past the guards in saffron. The difference is, we had PATIENCE. Games for us were journeys meant to last months or even years at a time. Now if a kid can't beat a game within a few days they'll call it trash. Getting stuck in games isn't allowed anymore.
