I actually love 99% of the new designs. In normal circumstances I would buy the game in a heartbeat.
However, I cannot forgive the dex cut.
I would accept 100% if ALL previous pokemon were cut and this was a type of "soft reset" for the franchise, it would probably be very intresting. But only putting some of them and in a way that doesn't even make sense? fuck no, fire whoever had that idea.
Here's hoping for some DLC to add a full pokedex in the future. Only way I'm ever having this game.
