The Tapus were also pretty bad with their similar Strength puzzles. Like I could accept them in the way I accept Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf if there were a whole lot more meaningful encounters to offer. Or how Ultra Beasts were GRASS ENCOUNTERS in SM. Cosmog was the most interesting one to get, and that's really depressing when it's just a free level 1 and can't evolve to the opposite version Legendary.
>>40753803I wouldn't mind if they were all like Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres where they're just powerful Pokémon. High tier Legendaries are almost always tied to the story or act as the final boss Pokémon post-game and are said to be extremely powerful and represent concepts, but it doesn't matter to me as long as there are a good amount to obtain with a decent chunk of that being unique ways of obtaining them. I want areas like the Seafoam Islands, Power Plant, Bell Tower, Whirl Islands, Hall of Origin, Navel Rock, Birth Island, Faraway Island, Snowpoint Temple, Turnback Cave, Southern Island, Liberty Garden, Flower Paradise, Newmoon Island, Fullmoon Island, Cerulean Cave, Mt. Ember, etc. Those areas make the regions feel so much more interesting and add a lot to the post-game, especially since many of those post-game areas can add new Pokémon on top of that.
