Ghost type has been poorly handed for some time now. It became an excuse for object-mons and over the top concepts and we've been seeing less and less ghost types that actually look like ghosts. I like Cursola (and I don't give a fuck about Polteageist), but I do miss some old school ghosts, like Ghastly, Misdreavus, Spiritomb and even Chandelure. Ghosts now look more fun and less scary (that's why Cursola depressing concept kinda pleases me).

It's based on a stealth aircraft and if you look closely at the tail there seems to be some translucency of some sort going on. It might also not fly like a winged creature but instead just float around.

It's weird cause ghost is such a cool typing but it's mons often end up having either underwhelming designs or performances. They are rarely bad but they are rarely striking either.

This guy is also cool even if he's more dragon than ghost. I like his tail but find his design to be a bit tacky for my liking.

Dragonfags will yell at me but as a ghost type fanatic I think the Dragapult line easily wins worst ghost pokemon for me. I used to think every ghost type was perfect up until this guy. Even the rotting anchor has more charm than airplane head.

Knowing his pokedex entry might change things.

As a fighting type fan who appreciated the vague humanoid designs, I’m also saddened by the fact that gen 6-current are 90% animalistic. I can appreciate both design styles but the weird humanoid monsters gave a quirk to the type and im sad to see those styles go

I also find it weird that Bewear is a Fighting type, it reminds me of Monzaemon. Would've been a cool Normal/Ghost if they went with the "creepy costume bear that's actually posessed" idea.
