They need to stop ruining new region forms by making them ice type. Ice is the worst type. Only OU Ice-Type is Kyurem Black and thats only because its a box legendary with 700 BST.

Mr Mime is pretty quick so it should be fine. Fast ice types are usable.

almost every ice type is a mono type and there aren't many combos that make ice as a type useful.
they also tend to come around late game only as well which is another point against them.

If you're going to bring in an evolution for an older, weak Pokemon, fuck yes competitive viability is important.

Otherwise it's just a needless dex-filler, and they cut the national dex because they had too many Pokemon. Adding MORE that they don't need only hurts their argument and creates more work for future games.
