Pokemon's modern artstyle is intentionally simple so the toys are easier to make and sell. The side effect to this is that any half decent artist can easily imitate the style, it's the reason why there are so many fake starter """""leaks""""" that children keep falling for. If you're too stupid to think that maybe this is just fanart, you're probably also dumb enough to buy these fucking games.

I don’t trust it. The clouds are at the top of both Venusaur and Blastoise. G-Max Pokémon tend to have the clouds somewhere else, like Charizard’s tail. You’d think Blastoise would have them around his cannon or something

Background art doesn't even line up in style. Left side is obv a stolen screenshot from the anime's background art, and the right side is literally a high res screenshot from a sea route from one of the 3D games.

Also Charizard got a completely new dynamax, while Blastoise and Venusaur just got slightly different takes on their mega evolutions? How fucking stupid do you take us for?
