>>40752889Literally yes. Coral mining, inorganic pollution (and organic pollution that kills the algae that give coral their color), blast fishing, and trawling are killing the shit out of coral. They need their algal blooms to properly "breathe" and process energy, and the fragile algae are getting killed to shit. Some idiot hippies will tell you that warming oceans are killing coral, but they thrive in warm waters when their algae can bloom.
I don't give a shit how you feel about global warming, but industrial pollution is a massive hazard and just irresponsible activity.
