Is anyone planning to do a monotype run? I’m liking a lot of the designs and thinking of doing a mono type run. Thinking of either Water, Bug, Or Ghost

Water is, as you can guess, great for Hoenn. Swampert is the best ingame Pokémon in the game, you've got Pelipper for fly while also having it as a usuable Pokémon, amazing coverage in the forms of Ludicolo/Walrein/Sharpedo/Lanturn/Kingdra/Tentacruel

As for bug I'd probably suggest BW2 since it's got the highest frequency of actual good ones. Not sure about ghost

I was thinking of doing a water mono run, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of new water mons. Really disappointed that Cursola is ghost type only.

Ice looks like it'll be a fun one assuming that they show up early enough, you get a good mix of subtypes between them. Electric also gives you some variety.
