Unless your name happens to be Psyduck, GF usually gives counterpart pairs reasonable symmetry.
Similarly Magmar/Electabuzz/Jynx all got new babies together but later Jynx was left out of the Gen 4 cross-gens. Probably because it's controversial and GF wanted to forget about it, but honestly if they gave it a new evo with a new design untainted by controversy they'd do a much better job of it. Jynx would just become another forgetten middle stage and the final stage would be the 'definitive' version.
